In the warm and nice climate of Setouchi,
Ishida Seibou was founded during the 30th year of the Meiji period in Kasaoka city. Since then, we have been creating straw hats. Using the most sophisticated sewing techniques, we make simple, comfortable and beautiful straw hats made in the best way from the materials we select. We carefully maintain the vital tools used to make our hats; like our sewing machines, presses, wooden templates and metal templates. Also, we take over our special skills and tools from the previous generation of hatmakers.
